Your tasks
- Operational work on customer orders to ensure process quality
- Carrying out work in metallography and various sample preparations
- Carrying out material tests and investigations (e.g. tensile testing, hardness testing, microscopy and others)
- Preparation of test and investigation reports in German and English
- Optimization and further development of test setups and methods
- Servicing and maintenance of the various technical devices (e.g. preparing microsection samples, embedding, grinding, polishing and etching)
Your profile
- Apprenticeship/study as a materials/surface technician, metallurgist, physics laboratory assistant or a comparable qualification, ideally with a focus on metal technology
- Experience with metallographic sample preparation techniques
- Experience with optical microscopy and mechanical testing methods is desirable
independent, careful and systematic way of working - Professional handling of digital communication and MS Office products
- You are a team player, reliable and flexible
- Good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
