Your tasks
- Planning and execution of internal and external development projects (application and coating development) in close coordination with the application engineering team
- Development of complex coating strategies, taking technical, economic, and customer-specific requirements into account
- Evaluation, interpretation, and preparation of experimental results for internal and external project review meetings
- Hands-on experience with the application of characterization techniques
- Technical support for the sales, product development, and service departments
- Participation in publicly funded research projects
- Preparation of technical publications and presentations for conferences and professional events
Your profile

Completed technical vocational training (e.g. mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, process mechanic, or similar); further qualification as a technician or master craftsman is an advantage but not a requirement

Practical experience in a technical environment, ideally in automation, robotics, coating technology, or plant operation – career starters are also welcome

Basic knowledge of offline and online robot programming or a strong willingness to learn in this area

Independent, results-oriented working style combined with strong communication skills and team spirit

Flexibility and a high level of commitment

Good command of English
We offer
- Completed degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials science/materials engineering) or a comparable technical qualification
- Sound knowledge of coating technologies, ideally in the field of Cold Spray
- Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials characterization is an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented working approach
- Strong communication skills and a confident manner when acting as an interface to customers
- High level of self-motivation, flexibility, and resilience
- Very good command of German and English (C1–C2 in both languages)
